The expression of Alumni Association of Tourism Economics and Hospitality Management (AATHEM) at University of Colombo includes Tourism Industry professionals as Alumnus.

All Most All Alumni body represents Masters in Tourism Economics and Hotel Management , The Postgraduate Diploma in Tourism Economics and Hotel Management, The Executive Diploma in Tourism, Events and Hospitality Management and the Diploma in Travel and Tourism Economics and Hotel Management are referred to as the Tourism and Hospitality Programs at University of Colombo.

AATHEM servers as a forum to exchange ideas and strengthen the professionalism in the field of Tourism and Hospitality across the country.

Also AATHEM supports the Industry to the advancements and achievements of social, Professional and Academic portals to enrich policies and strategies with the competitive advantages.

Our Association Keeps a track record of creating International Tourism Leaders' Summit and Tourism Research Conferences for consecutively five years. We at University of Colombo develop an assortment of seminars, workshops and Public Lectures in an array of subjects in tourism.

AATHEM takes the Leadership in organizing the United Nations world Tourism day celebrations at the national level in Sri Lanka
