The Travel Agents Association of Sri Lanka (TAASL) is affiliated to The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce. The Travel Agents Association of Sri Lanka (TAASL) is the National Travel Agents body in the country, founded on October 22, 1974 & representing the interests of 168 inbound and outbound travel and tour operators in Sri Lanka. The Association was the fist tourism related association established at that time and was the common association for many tourism industries including outbound, inbound and hotels. However with the evolving tourism trade, separate associations were established.
